Mr. Patrick Ang is the Managing Partner of Rajah & Tann, Singapore and the Vice-Chairman of Rajah & Tann Asia.
Mr. Ang is globally regarded as a preeminent lawyer and has been consistently named in prominent legal directories like Chambers Asia Pacific, IFLR1000 and The Legal 500 Asia Pacific. He has almost three decades of experience handling both contentious and non-contentious matters. One of the key areas of Mr. Ang’s expertise include corporate restructuring and insolvency. He acting for financial institutions and companies in high-profile landmark cases including Nortel Networks, Lehman Brothers and Swiber.
Mr. Ang has worked on notable cases and transactions. He was inducted as the Fellow member of the prestigious American College of Bankruptcy making him the only Singaporean (and the fourth Asian Lawyer) and he was also inducted as the Fellow of Singapore Institute of Directors. He is also a member of the International Insolvency Institute and the Insolvency Practitioners’ Association Singapore.
Mr. Ang regularly writes and has authored many articles that are published in international journals. He was recently awarded the ‘Public Service Star (Covid 19)’ the second highest honour of the National Awards (Covid 19), by the Prime Minister’s office for these contributions towards Singapore’s fight against the pandemic.
He is also an Independent Director of Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation Ltd, Tiong Seng Holdings Limited and Nanyang Girls’ High School.
