Vaneeta has been in teaching since 2003. Her subjects’ specialisation is in – Corporate Insolvency, Insurance, Mergers and Acquisition, International Investment Laws, International Commercial instruments and , Laws of Banking.
She was the first Indian student to study at the Summer Academy at the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea for Uses and Protection of the Sea – Legal, Economic and Natural Science Perspectives. She did her Master of Law and Business Management from Bucerius Law School for which she was granted full academic scholarship. She also received research scholarship from Max Planck Hamburg, University of Dundee, Dundee, Scotland.
She has delivered lectures both in India and abroad. Amongst some of the institutions where she has lectured is Hamburg University, Hamburg.

She has experience as a consultant to INSOL International. She has been a contributor to many industrial publications and academic publications subjects ranging from insurance to arbitration. She heads the Center for Financial Laws as well as the Mediation Clinic at NUJS.

She has extensive experience in corporate training in areas like RTI, POSH, Contract Drafting, Economic Offences, Employment Laws, Cyber Laws, Mediation and Conciliation. She has been responsible for designing courses and training programs for senior executives of the Durgapur Power Plant, West Bengal Power Development Corporation, HPCL, EoW of the WB police and, Swami Vivekananda State Police Academy. She has been an invitee as a resource person for training programs at IIMC, Symbiosis Hyd, KIIT SoL, XLRI, NIFT and Pondicherry University, amongst others.
